My approach to care:

Kate Millichamp is a Master’s level Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harm, suicidal behavior and ideation, and trauma, including childhood trauma. She is a bilingual therapist in Spanish and English and appreciates working with diverse clients, always adopting a holistic approach and thoroughly exploring social and cultural factors during treatment. She utilizes various clinical modalities, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and she always employs a strengths-based approach that seeks to empower clients to identify and pursue solutions that capitalize on their unique strengths and capabilities. Depending on client preferences, interests, personalities, and preferred learning styles, she designs treatment plans and prepares therapy sessions that successfully engage clients and meet their individual needs. Kate looks forward to meeting you and supporting you along your change journey!
