My approach to care:

Hi, I’m Andie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, an LGBTQIA+ ally who values cultural humility and a holistic approach to healthcare. For over 20 years I’ve worked with people 18 years and older (individual and group settings), to help with symptom reduction/management, using healthy coping skills, effective communication, self-esteem improvement, conflict resolution, lifestyle changes, and more.

As a therapist, I am passionate about providing DBT, using motivational interviewing to meet someone where they are, and teaching Mindfulness, although my eclectic approach varies with the unique needs of each client because some want evidence based, skill building interventions and others seek a caring, non-judgmental space for self-exploration and to tell their stories. If we work together, I want to emphasize your strengths while we collaborate to create achievable long term goals, broken into smaller short term steps, for your improved health and other positive life changes.
