Allera is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with extensive experience working with adolescents and adults. Allera holds a Master’s degree in Counseling with a Clinical Concentration from Johns Hopkins University. She is dedicated to creating a warm and empowering space for her clients to heal and grow. Allera understands that every client is unique, and therefore, she uses an integrative therapy approach to tailor her treatment to meet each individual’s specific needs. The leading approaches that influence her practice include psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and Motivational Interviewing.

Allera specializes in providing support for clients experiencing major life transitions, relationship challenges, race-based traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and a variety of other concerns.
