Kate Pedziwol began her career as a Registered Nurse working in an outpatient, community mental health clinic in 2013. It was in this setting she found her passion for advocacy and social justice which catapulted her into The University of Tennessee’s MSN program, specializing in Psychiatry. Since graduating in 2015 with her master’s degree, she has had the opportunity to work with an array of diagnoses in multiple settings but has found outpatient clinic setting to be the most rewarding. Her approach to care is always patient-centered and viewed through the lens of an advocate. Developing an effective treatment plan hinges upon listening to and learning your unique journey and lived experience. She will work with you to create a plan that is both effective and flexible to life’s ebbs and flows. Her clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma.
