Denise Martin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Franklin Pierce University and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy College. Denise has experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults who deal with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and adjustment disorders and various other conditions. Denise uses a client centered approach and works with the client where they are at. Denise also uses Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Based Approach, Motivational Interviewing, and a Strength Based approach. Denise has experience working in child welfare system in both foster care and preventive services where she helps the family achieve their goals by providing resources and utilizing the strengths they already possess within themselves and the community around them.
