Here to Help You Heal
I am a licensed master social worker who isn’t your a-typical therapist. I reject the flawless “glow-up” image, toxic positivity, and the notion that healing is just one green juice or spin class away. Instead, as a talk therapist with ten years of experience, I’ve been the quarterback for patients navigating life’s mess, chaos, and drama. My specialty is teaming up with patients when their life gives more “dumpster fire” vibes or “hot mess” energy, aka surviving, not thriving. If you’re stuck in the “I lost the plot… now what?” signals, then I’m your therapist.
I am especially focused on helping Millennial/Gen Z patients navigate attachment wounds, relationship betrayal, and trauma responses. I specialize in the stuff that you’ve told yourself is “too much” or “too embarrassing” to share anywhere else.
Here are some trending themes — if some of these resonate, you have come to the right place: the toxic ex you can’t quit, the existential dread that hits at 3 AM, the career path that took one too many detours, the burnout that’s become more of a lifestyle, societal pressures and emasculation felt by young men.
If any of these sound familiar, then I am here for you.
My Approach to Care
I take an intuitive, relaxed, and collaborative style, building relationships based on trust, respect, and alliance. My love for being a talk therapist is evident in every session, where I find myself leaning into more psychodynamic approaches, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Together, we’ll adapt, pivot, and shift therapeutic modalities to whatever the session is calling for that day.
You don’t need to clean up beforehand—bring the mess, the hot tea, the persistent overthinking, and we’ll unpack that deep-seated trauma response to a passive-aggressive email from your boss earlier. Bring it all. No need to filter, perform, or have it all figured out. I’m here to sit with you in the mess(y), the lost, and the in-between spaces.
A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care
I bring a genuine sense of empathy and authenticity to my work based upon the past. My own journey has seen me as both hero and villain, highly loved and intensely loathed, moving from A-List to D-List and back again. These personal experiences shape how I work — I help patients own their mistakes and figure out what they really want, all while showing kindness and understanding for those reflections of “OMG I can’t believe I did that” moments we have in session.
Personal Interests
My hobbies include, but are not limited to, refueling on Diet Coke, rock climbing classes (#InfluencedByTheBFF), ongoing attempts at horseback riding (horses give me side eye), and having 101 missed calls due to forgetting my phone is on DND—true story. Last but not least, deep and daily musings of “Does my dog really run the show around here?” … TBD.
