Radhalisa Zarzuela is a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Bachelor’s degree is Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree from New York University- Steinhardt in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness. Radhalisa has an array of experience working with survivors of intimate-partner and domestic violence, teen dating violence, and other forms of gendered-based trauma. Radhalisa has also worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and personality disorders. Radhalisa’s approach to therapy is warm, relational, and client-centered. Radhalisa utilizes an anti-oppressive lens, along with Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to foster an open healing space. Radhalisa is also a certified psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist providing therapeutic integration, and a group facilitator for the Integrative Psychiatry Institute.
