My approach to care:

Here to Help You Heal

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with experience in residential, day treatment, and outpatient care, I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults with eating disorders, body image concerns, and related mental health challenges. I’m passionate about helping you gain insight, foster your own resilience, and develop your self-compassion.

Through practical, collaborative sessions, you learn to pinpoint current obstacles and recurring themes, and we work together to create a treatment plan to process those patterns and remove said obstacles. My goal is to support you in building coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and achieving your personal wellness goals.

My Approach to Care

In our sessions together, you can expect a calming and non-judgmental environment. My style is compassionate and transparent, tailored to your unique goals to help you develop healthier coping skills and actualize lasting change. This approach focuses on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and motivational interviewing to create a warm, collaborative, and transparent space that allows me to be a supportive partner in your growth. I look forward to helping you navigate challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change in our time together.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a therapist began with a simple psychology class in high school, a class that not only helped me realize how naturally the subject matter came to me, but also how much it fascinated me. In continuing my education and post-graduate experience, my commitment to providing attuned and high-quality service deepened. Now, I remain dedicated to bringing clinical expertise, genuineness, and an emphasis on building trust to each session.

Personal Interests

Outside the office, you’ll find me enjoying a wide array of hobbies, from going on relaxing walks and visiting the beach to watching scary movies. I especially love the culinary arts, whether that means exploring new restaurants and cuisines or reading at one of my favorite coffee shops. Most often, though, I’m spending quality time with my family and friends, including my two cats.
