My approach to care:

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life stressors, life transitions, and relationship issues in young adults and adults, particularly those within the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with three years of experience supporting diverse clients, I help young adults and adults, especially those within the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges while fostering authentic connection and personal growth.

I specialize in anxiety and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths based. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help reframe negative thoughts, build coping skills, and support emotional well-being. I’m passionate about creating a safe, affirming space for healing and growth.

Working together, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment. I help clients build insight, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical coping skills. My style is collaborative, and I tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs and goals.

My path to becoming a therapist began with my own experiences navigating identity and mental health. This deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, collaborative care. I bring a collaborative and empathetic approach to each session and use evidence-based techniques to help clients reframe negative thought patterns, develop coping skills, and build emotional resilience.

I believe in collaboration and empathy, which will help me be a supportive and non-judgmental clinician to my clients. I look forward to helping you gain deeper insight, build coping skills, and create meaningful change in our work together.

In my free time, I love going to K-pop concerts to connect with music. I enjoy baking and cooking, experimenting with new recipes. Crocheting helps me unwind and be creative, while thrift shopping is a favorite for unique finds. I’m always up for trying new restaurants and exploring different cuisines, which keeps me excited about food and experiences.
