My approach to care:

Here to Help You Heal

Life is hard. It’s a tricky thing that presents us with so many unique challenges and difficulties. Whether you’re feeling stuck, alone or ready for change, I want to work with you to build a better life and become a better version of yourself.

As a mental health counselor with five years of experience, I work with young adults and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship distress, life transitions, and identity issues. My mission is to help you discover and embody your best self while processing distressing situations. Oftentimes we find that we have difficulty figuring out how to work through our challenges, much less identifying them at all, so I walk alongside you to explore the root of the issue in order to find an effective and sustainable solution.

My Approach to Care

Working with both couples and individuals to find healing, I approach my role as being a safe space for you to express yourself without fear of judgement, collaborating with you to find and work toward becoming the best version of yourself. To this end, therapy is centered on you and who you are, as you are the ultimate expert on who you are at your core.

In our time together we will uncover the heart of your challenges and process them in a way that promotes growth and empowerment. My mission is to work toward your goals and create long-lasting change to get to where you want to be.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path led me toward therapy because it’s the profession that felt true and honest to me. Growing up, I found that many of my peers were interested in hearing my advice, often turning to me as a listening ear. This helped me recognize the importance and power of support and empathy. When I pursued counseling as a career, I came to see how significant it was to someone to have that person who truly listened, who was present and cared. These are qualities that I try to incorporate into each session of my own practice now.

Personal Interests

When I’m not in the office, you’ll often find me catching up on the newest blockbuster hit or trying to find the latest show that’s streaming, as I love seeing what’s up next on the silver screens. I’m also an avid baseball fan and love going to games to soak in the sights and sounds. Outside of these hobbies, I’m most often planning my next trip while entertaining my two cats.
