My approach to care:

Here to Help You Heal
Are you entering a new phase of your life? Navigating relationship stressors? Getting your footing, or finding a new way to manage your emotions? As a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP), I’m here to help you navigate these and other adjustments you may be facing in your day-to-day.

I’m passionate about understanding your life experiences from your point of view, acknowledging how your perspective influences your reactions. My approach is eclectic with an Adlerian focus, and we work together to align your values and goals while emphasizing your strengths in order to lead a more fulfilling life.

My specialties include: life adjustments and transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, job-related stressors, and career decisions for young adults and adults experiencing these changes.

My Approach to Care

Working together, you can expect an environment free of judgement. I believe it’s important to build a genuine connection with you, using humor and personality to strengthen a relationship of collaboration and validation. I take an approach of gentle confrontation and cultural humility, tailoring care to your unique identity and experiences.

At all times, I believe in working with you to gain insights into your own behavioral patterns, aligning these with goals we set together. My commitment to working collaboratively with you helps me be a partner in your journey, and I look forward to creating a space of safety and validation in our work.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path toward patient care began with a passion for mental health advocacy, believing that our emotional wellness is just important as, and inextricably linked to, our physical health. This passion deepened my commitment to providing care that acknowledges how mental health affects all aspects of life. Now, I remain dedicated to bringing respect, validation, and empathy to each session, as well as creating a personal connection with each of my patients, understanding them from their point of view.

Personal Interests

To unwind in my free time, I love to cook and try out new recipes, explore museums and shows, read, and check out new restaurants. I also try to stretch my legs by playing tennis or golf as much as I can, and keep up with my college football team (Go Tigers!).
