I received my Master’s degree from Capella University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have had previous experience working in outpatient case management, clinical settings, and in a group private practice.
My previous work has included a variety of individuals including children, adolescents, and adults. I take a trauma-informed and person-centered approach in my work and mainly treat clients for anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I additionally use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach and am working on becoming trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) to be able to work more thoroughly with parts and inner child work.
I value a holistic and collaborative approach towards treatment and believe that every individual is deserving of relief from their symptoms and to live a life of optimal well-being. I meet clients where they are at and assist in discovering strengths and developing self-awareness. I feel very passionate about creating a safe space for clients that is judgement free and where you can be authentically you!”
