Narrative

My approach to care:

Jingjin Chen, LMSW, has been immersed in the mental health field since completing her Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. Throughout her career, she has engaged with a diverse array of mental health settings, including residential programs, crisis intervention center, and private practices, both within US and abroad in China, which has afforded her invaluable experience working with diverse populations, enabling her to develop nuanced and individualized therapeutic approaches to her clients.

Jingjin is committed to fostering an environment of empathy and nonjudgmental support in her practice. She employs reflective and person-centered techniques to facilitate a deep understanding of her clients’ circumstances and collaborates with them to explore effective strategies for cultivating healthy mindsets and coping mechanisms. By prioritizing the empowerment and resilience of her clients, Jingjin endeavors to assist them in navigating life’s challenges with strength and self-awareness.
