My approach to care:

Hello! My name is Amanda Caird and I am a Mental Health Counselor, currently working under my Limited Permit, with a Master’s of Education Degree in Mental Health Counseling from George Mason University. I have expertise in treating individuals with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health symptoms including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and personality disorders, along with individuals experiencing life transitions, and support those who may be navigating interpersonal relationships. I utilize a trauma-informed, person-centered approach while integrating varied therapeutic modalities to support the individual’s needs and goals. My intention throughout any therapeutic relationship, is to meet an individual where they are in their journey of healing and growth while instilling radical empathy, openness, and compassion.
