Here to Help You Heal
As a trauma-informed and psychodynamic clinician with 12 years of experience, I specialize in helping first-generation children of immigrants navigate difficulties in personal relationships, anxiety, depression, and body image challenges. I also offer psychodynamic therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals and couples. My approach is holistic, empowering, and transparent, encouraging you to understand the root of your challenges and develop the tools necessary to aid in the healing process.
My Approach to Care
Working together, you can expect a calm and supportive environment tailored to your specific goals, needs, and preferences. I believe in both autonomy and compassion, which helps me to be a collaborative, supportive, and holistic partner. Your treatment plan may include psychodynamic therapy and trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help process and uncover the root of your suffering. I look forward to helping you alleviate that suffering and find lasting healing in our work together.
A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care
My path toward therapeutic care began at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Having spent 8 years in the nonprofit sector working in spaces like group homes, shelters, and with mobile crisis teams, I understood that the pandemic would bring unique mental health challenges. This understanding inspired me to intentionally pivot my career while deepening my commitment to providing inclusive, culturally affirming, and compassionate care. Now in the therapeutic space, I bring a combination of humor, warmth, and understanding to each session.
Personal Interests
I enjoy a wide range of hobbies when I’m not in the office, including strength training, watching documentaries, and reading, as well as spending lots of quality time with friends and family.
